Carmella's Hang Out

It is SOOO very hot here today. And I am loving it! Yes, I may sigh sometimes or make a comment about how hot it is, but that is just cause it is really hot! lol The sun is so pretty, and the outdoors are so nice to be in these days!!

I feel bad. Today is National Chocolate Ice Cream day, and we {meaning mostly Mum and I} decided when we found out about many of these National days, that we were going to celebrate them all. Kade and I went out to Meijer to buy a gallon tub of Chocolate Ice Cream. When we got into Dads car {I have not had the best of days…….this morning, we found Mandie with a totally flat tire.} I remembered that I had left my CD player and new CD {one of our friends gave me a Great Big Sea CD for my birthday, just this Sunday. I have pretty much been listening to it only for the past two days.} in the van when I used it this morning. Mum had taken the van to the Y to take Tren and Sam swimming, so I figured Kade and I would just stop by there real fast and grab my player, since I have a set of keys for the van. For a second, I thought I should leave Mum a note that said I was the one that took the player, but then figured she would know it was me, since her purse was right next to it and it was left alone. Turns out…….she thought we had a CD snatcher attack our van. She looked close to tears when we came home, so worried that it had been stolen on her watch. I feel horrid, since I DID think about leaving a note and didnt, and then did not leave a message on the voicemail or at home here…..and plus, I was the one that left it in there in the first place! Poor Mum!! Sorry!!!

Really looking forward to tomorow!!! Tiff took the Wednesday shift with out neighbor Helen, and since I have the day off and so does my cousin most of the time, I decided a trip to Bancroft was in order. The down side is that Kade will not be able to come, cause she has to be at work at one after leaving Helens, and David also works in the afternoon and has something to do in the earlier part of the day.{more on that later!!!} While over at Chris’ house for a game night on Sunday, I mentioned my plans to Chris. She has often said she would love to go over and see Bancroft, and she gets along great with my Grandparents so that makes it all the better. I asked if she wanted to come along. She said yes! Chris, Caleb, Josh, Mum,Tren,Sam,LeyLey, and I are all going to head over there tomorow afternoon and spend a few hours with them all! Rachel called a few hours ago and said she has to open that day, but she thinks she can get home in time to see me for awhile. Gramma was very excited about seeing Chris, and Chris says she is looking forward to being around them for a few hours. I think it will be a ton of fun!! YAY!!

David got a call today from AT&T at the mall. I think it is thier cell phone store. He had aplied for a position at Cingular, and since the two companies are merging,they got his ap. He is to go in tomorow before work to have an informal interview with the manager there!!!! Praise The Lord! Please pray it all goes well!! It would be so wonderful if he could get his job. He is really really unhappy at the Carousel and very much needs a more long term job!!
