Cant stay long….

I have to be to work in an hour or so. Just had to share about something cool that happened.

Every Fourth of July, the Hepworth family has a reunion. Now this is not only the Franklin and Elveretta Hepworth family, this is the William and Rosey Hepworth family. {i.e. My Grampas living brothers and sisters and thier kids and grandkids.} It is held up about four hours away from here in a place called Pentwater Michigan, where my Grandad is from. We have not gone in years, but this year Dad said he thought it might be nice to spend the day up there, since much of our family {my uncles and aunts} will be there. I had seen what I thought was the new schedule for the week, and was to work Monday 2-6, and so was going to be left behind for the day. Chris also had family plans for a reunion and would not be around, so I was not going to be able to spend the day with her either. Yesterday, David and Tiff said they would stay behind with me, since they would see everyone on Saturday when they all go to my cousin Laura’s Graduation Open House. At 5 last evening, I went into work for my closing shift. The new schedule had been posted, and low and behold…………..I have Monday off!! Today I go in at 4:30, work till 9:30 with my boss and then do not have to return until Wednesday of next week! Plus, to top it all off, my one Saturday a month off is this next Saturday!! I did not even request it and will get to go see all my family up in Standish! Praise the Lord.

I hope that this does not come off hurtful, since I know that there are some of my friends who have to work that day, This is not in anyway meant to hurt anyones feelings. I am very sorry that anyone else has to work that day. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, filled with Blessings. I will be praying!!!
Soon I hope to once again talk to all of you! Love ya all!

Bless our kind Father! :-) Hooray, Carm! :-)

And I don’t feel hurt at all. Every other holiday is mine to work, and that is an aspect of a CNA/caregiving job which I knew from the first. The gains far outweigh the losses!
