Oy! Cars!!

My poor Mandie had to be taken in AGAIN. It feel like I am doing that all the time, but I guess Im not really. This time, it was the driver side tire. That thing was ready to blow I recon. You could see wire stickin out from it. We went to WalMart first, but they had a line up of ppl waiting, and were actually turning ppl away or having them leave thier car there till tomorow. So Kade and I took off to Bell Tire. The guy there did not want to change that tire, unless I was going to change at the very least the two front! {remember that one I just got torched off back in October? Yeah….my car is in such poor shape she is going through tires like candy and that one is starting to look bad too!} I came very close to using tears….but not just because I thought it might help, but because I was that close to them anyway. I did not have the money for it at the moment, and was going to wait for a few weeks till I got a good paycheck to get the new one. Dad gave me some money to get it now! I am tellin you, I have the best Dad! He keeps getting me out of things like this! Love you Dad! Well, I think the guy behind the counter could see I was either going to cry or walk out and he would loose the sale, so he agreed to change just that one. Kade and I wondered around the stores that share that same parking lot {which include the Meijer I use to work at, a Target, and a JoAnn Fabric ETC along with a few sit in restaurants} I put in an app at the JoAnn, so I am praying about that now!! :) When we got back to the Bell Tire, the guy handed me a free estimate of all the things they could fix for me. OH MY WORD!!! All I can say….is Mandie is gonna stay broken for awhile!! :) JUST the stuff that Bell Tire would be able to help with….this meaning the underside of the car, not anything to do with the engine or anything like that. JUST stuff to do with the tires and such, thier total for parts alone was $842.78, and then the Total of Labor was $429.90 making a grand Total of $1323.25. I told the guy that is about 10 years of my life makin what I do now!!! :) And that no thank you, at the time I am not going to have them do any of it! OY OY OY OY!!
So….one tire got fixed!! :D

Eeeekkk!!! Kinda funny how your poor car went through all that free estimate stuff just to fix one tire! *hugs* Everything will be ok! What would you be doing at the other job if you got it?
