Pictures coming soon:

Hello all!
I forget how long it is inbetween blog updates, because I have been writting entries all along. However, long hand posts, written in note books while at work, have a hard time jumping into the computer screen and posting themselves! So here I am thinking I have told everyone about the stuff going on over here, and all I have been doing is re-explaining them to myself on lined paper! heee!!!

As the title says, I have pictures to share with everyone again!!! I had so much fun over the past seven weeks, taking and sharing so many pictures, that I felt it was a shame to stop there. Let me put it this way though, if my computer were ever to be harmed and ‘put out of business’ I am going to be in deep trouble! I have so many photos on my harddrive, it would be a shame to loose them all! heh. Anyway. All I have to do to share the pics is get them over to my comp first! See, they are still on my camera at the moment, and in order to get them online I must first turn on Kade’s computer, load the pics onto her system, then drag them over to mine, then deleate the photos on hers. All-in-all it does not take alot of time, but I never seem to get it done when I want to! Oh well! heeee

The first set of pictures will be from Thursday. In the past two months, both Tiff and I have noticed a drop in the pounds, and inches, due to drinking more milk, AND walking every Saturday and Sunday for weeks. The added laughter factor has also not gone un noticed, nor un needed. All the activity on the weekends, has done a great deal of good to both of us, and we did not want to go back to the way things were before. So on Thursday, Kade and I set out, camera’s in hand, to take a walk around, snap some pics, and do everything in our power to have a good laugh and good time! The plan, at the time of departure {2pm from our front door} was to walk down a little side road that is just down the street, and take pictures of the turning leaves, and anything else that tickeled our fancy. I love to walk down that lane, because it is so much like taking a step into Avonlea, or stolling through the back woods of my Grandparents property. A bit of country in the city I suppose. Well, as we walked, it became clear that the path we had chosen was not going to be long enough. We decided to continue on the road, and see how far we could get. There is a road called Dutten {dutton?} that, when you stand facing the left side, you can see over a field to a road called Brown. Brown road, is the road upon wich Meijer sits. As a challenge of sorts, Tiff and I decided we wanted to walk to Meijer! After a quick call home to inform them of the change of plans, the new adventure began, along with much giggling and singing. Imagine, if you will, two 20something girls, walking down tree covered dirt roads, calling out favorite phrases, sayings, and entire scenes from the Renaissance Festival. {none of which would make much sense to anyone that has not seen them, or that does not know the context from wence they are taken.} I am sure we were a sight to see, but oh was it fun! Soon, we discovered that we were not going to be able to take the path to Brown that we had first thought possible. The road was blocked, and all other ways too hilly, bumpy, or otherwise unusable, to take. Still not ready to turn in and head home, we continued down Bald Mountain Road, till we reached Silver Bell. Once there, we realized that we still would be able to make it to Meijer from this route!!! All we had to do was follow the next main road BACK to Brown. What was the next main road you ask? M 24!!! Only, we didnt just need to GET to M 24, no we needed to CROSS M 24. And there are no cross walks on highways! :D Even though we were a bit tired, and could have just as easily stayed on this side of 24 and made it back home, we took our chances and ran full tilt to the middle of 24. There was a small island of cement and grass in between the two south bound and two north bound lanes of M 24, and we were able to stop and rest there a moment, and plot our run across the next two lanes of traffic. We did so, and it ended in much joy and yelling and laughter. It also provided us with a sort of second wind. It was so much fun crossing such a busy street and MAKING it safe and sound! lol! Yes, we know we are stupid! But hey! :) Once on the other side of 24, we had to cross over Silver Bell again to continue down our new side of the highway and make it to Brown road. While on that street, a car pulled over to ask us if we were in need of a ride. I really freaked him out as I let out a high pitches scream at him……..since he scared me pulling over so fast like that! hee! oooppps!! Here I was thinking he was trying to kidnapp us, or at the very least run us over, and he was trying to be nice. I explained to him that we were just out for a walk, and he then drove away, but not before giving me a very confused look!! ROFL! Once we made it to Brown road, knowing we still had some distance to go before making it to Meijer, we stopped for a pop at the McDonald’s there. 15 minutes or less later, we were back on the trail down to the store. Only one more big road stood in our way. Joslyn! Now, if you thought 24 was a hard one to cross……you aint seen nothin yet! This was actually the road that scared us a bit more. From the sidewalk we were on, we had to cross 9 lanes of traffic!! :) Two roads lead from Joslyn to Brown, two from Brown to Joslyn, two going one way on Joslyn, two going the other way, and one turn lane. We were able to stop and do more plotting, after crossing the off/on Brown road lanes. Getting the timing to be just right……we bolted across the busy street and onto the sidwalk on the other side. We had made it! Yeah…..and it only took us three hours!! rofl!! Yup yup! 3 hours, and about 8 miles, a trip that takes 10-15 minutes and 6 miles in a car! It was so much fun though!! We laughed SO very hard SO many times on that trip. Got honked at a total of 7 times, crossed 2 major streets, and got some great pictures!! There was no way, though, that we were going to walk that all the way back home, though, and we were SOO SOO SOO very tired once we arrived, so we called home and had them pic us up, after spending a small amount of time in the store talking with some friends, and resting. The biggest down side to it all? I think I broke my foot on our wild adventure! We will not be doing that any time soon again, but we shall also not be forgetting that any time soon either!!! :) Fun fun fun!

Yesterday, was the Beaumont Hospital Family Zoo Day. They give out free tickets to thier Employee’s for them and thier family to go to the Zoo. There are always huge tents of hot dogs, hamburgers, side dishes , pop/ water, ice cream, and the best cookies, all free to those that have the wrist band. We had a wonderful time, though I felt really horrid that I had to be pampered so! Mum, Tiff and Dad all took turns pushing me in a wheelchair. {Dad took the largest portion of time, since he is very good at pushing wheelchairs! That is how he got started in the hospital.} The kids are so much fun to watch at the Zoo! They each have a favorite stops and animals. I had once again taken my camera and have many many photos of that day to share as well!! :)

I hope you are all doing well and having a good Sunday and that your week goes by brilliantly! May you be blessed in all you do this week, and all be bright shining lights for Christ, acomplishing everything He has in His will for you this week! :)

Luv ya all!

`Till next we meet`
