Ok, so not really…..but Pirates!!! :D And you all thought my Renaissance-like posts were a thing of the past didn’t you? Ah, well…so did I. But I just had to tell you what happened yesterday, so you can all share in the laughter at what a crazy and addicted person I am!!

While I was at work yesterday., I spotted a LARGE black blob over at the A&W food stand. I know, this is not a very nice way of describing anything, let alone a person…..but that is all I knew at the time…..cause really, I dont know, other than all the black…what it was that made me look over in that direction.

Seeing someone all decked out in black, however, is not a new thing for me. We have them all over the mall….and Oakland County. There was something different about this person in black though…..for I recognized him!! At first I thought I must be seeing things, since the A&W is a fair distance from my station…….but I mean…..how many other 6 foot 7 guys are there with dark floppy hair that dress in all black and red and have a big trench coat? {No…I don’t want exact numbers…..cause it turned out I was right….so any other facts don’t matter.}

I was not 100% sure until I saw the group walk out the door {which you have to walk past my booth to do} and saw that I also knew who the other two were. It was then, that I saw it was Envy the Pirate. {Ken Ott of the Knights Of Iron}

Anything having to do with my beloved festival will brighten up my day….so the last hour of my work day went much better! lol

That was a blessing…seeing as how I was SWAMPED before then! This entire week prior, and by that I mean Monday-Thursday heee, we had not gone over 180 in ticket sales all day long. By 4 in the afternoon yesterday, I had over 200 tickets sold!! *jawdrop* Yeah….I know…not as big of a deal as it could be……I could have had 400 by then…..but I was so very tired so that made it a tad worse!

See, yesterday was a friend’s birthday. Kade, Chris and I went out to the store on Thursday to go get her some gifts. Later that night, Chris came over to our house to play games {Tiff went out Tuesday and used some birthday money to buy Boggle.I think we have played it daily since then} and we {Chris, Tiff, David, Mum and I} stayed up till 2 in the morning laughing so hard…I am sure we all lost a few pounds just from that!!! Poor Mum had to get up at 5 the next…wait…the same morning…… :( I know that makes me sound like even more of a wuss, since I didnt have to get up till like 8-8:30 that morning….but I was tired none the less!! :D

I have to work again today. Actually….I was supposed to be to work already, but my boss needed me to switch my time around. :( Today was the one afternoon that we would all be home. David and Dad have the day off, and I was going to be home by 3 in the afternoon. Now, I leave at 2 and will not be back till after 9:30. Oh well. At least I get home by 6:45 tomorow or there abouts…so I may be able to have dinner with the family all together then. We shall see.

If not, there is always next weekend. My boss has given me Friday, Saturday, Sunday Monday, Tuesday, off I think it is. :D I also have Caeley’s birthday off!! Praise the Lord for that!! I really did not want to have to work that day, since we were not here at all last year for it, and I did not want to have to tell her I had to go to work!

Well…time for me to go get ready to leave!
Hope you are all having a great weekend!
See ya later!

    Heehee! That made me smile! You must keep the RenFest spirit all year long! :-)

    Also, Boggle is one of my favorite games. Do you guys have the regular version, or the extra-sized one (where the words have to be longer)?
