Great is the Lord, and worthy to be praised.

We stopped off at Meijer, for what we thought was going to be a quick trip for chicken. Turned out to be much more.

I got my job back!!!

One of my former boss’ saw me and, even though he was with a costumer, asked when I was coming back to work, and that they really  needed me back. Since he was walking past when he said it, I was not able to go into much detail, but just called out that I would come back right now, if they were able to work it out with me.  Mum and I talked about it a bit when I caught up to her in the grocery section, and I told her that I did not have a peace about following after him to see if they could work a return back for me. I was not sure why, but I just didn’t. However, it was nice to feel missed and wanted back at my old store.

We checked out, and I thought that would be the end of it. Tiff had not yet finished, so we were looking for her, and standing up at the front of the checkout lanes. Once again, my boss walked past, but I did not think he would say anything, since he was on the phone. He hung up, and said “What things would we need to work out to have you come back?” I explained that I would not be able to work either month of August or September, but would be able to come back in October. He took it to mean I could come work again in October, but I clarified by saying that was the way things were now, since I did not think they would let me leave for two months like I needed. Calmly, he said, “We could work that out.” I was a bit taken aback by this, so I questioned “You would let me leave for two whole months and still come back?” He told me that as long as they put re-hireable on my termination papers, I can come back at anytime. It will be easier for them to let me go for two months in the summer, because all of the college/school students come back for the summer, and they have much more help then.

Plans are now, that I will go in next week to fill out a kit {the paperwork for my rehire} and we will agree on a starting date sometime for the week after. I will work Tuesdays at the Carousel…until the time I feel I am OK with leaving it all together, and will work Friday, Saturday, Sunday at Meijer. {my boss let me pick the number of hours I wanted, given that I was helping them out by working at the desk}

I am so excited! It is so very nice to feel as though, as Mum put it, I am going ‘home’ to a place that wants me to work with them. I will know more next week, such things as what hours I will work on those three days, though I do know already that I will work eight hours a day. More than likely, I will be back to my 2-10 on Sundays like I use to be.

It is also great to have one more prayer answered, one more question I no longer have to ask.  And, that the Lord gave me the answer so clear that it seemed to scream out at me.

YAY!!! :) So I will start the 19th probably. :)
