Carmella's Hang Out

So I have had a pretty amazing start to the week!! Company both Monday and Tuesday!! Some unexpected, some more fun than expected, and some more relaxed and ‘normal’ than expected!

Monday, friends that none of us have seen in over five years came over for a visit. The last time I saw the kids, they were something like 10, 7, 5, and 3…I think. Now, the oldest who is 16 is taller than me!! Scary!!

After that, Rachel came over for a little more than an hour. She was helping with inventory at the Dunhams in Rochester Hills, and so stopped by to say hi on her way home. We had a nice visit, and it was a great way to end a good day!

Yesterday, a girl from work came for dinner, along with her fiancee. We all sat around the table and chatted until he had to go to work. Half an hour after they left, she came back over to play games and chat some more. She stayed till three thirty in the morning. We had a blast!!

I have yet to be outside today, but I think I am going to take a long walk. The sun is shining so we shall see if it is telling a lie of warmth. Monday was nice, weather wise, but I was not able to get out into the sun for any length of time, given our wonderful stream of company. The kids were able to play, however, and even opted out of shoes!!
