Carmella's Hang Out

Please pray. This morning, two medical vehicles and two police cars pulled up in front of our neighbors houe. She is one of the ladies that Tiff works for. Over a year ago, when she broke her hip, Tiff and I sat with her every morning for a few weeks, just to keep her company and to do light house work and such.

About half an hour after the 911 crew came, we heard that our friend had passed away. We do not yet know when it was that she died, since her house has had little to no movement for the past three days. {We all thought she was not at home, since her van was gone, but it turns out that her daughter had taken it for a few days.}

Our family all liked her allot, and she has watched the kids grow up. {She moved here just before Sam was born} However, Tiffany was esecially close to her. She has been witnessing to her for the past few years, and has done a very good job of it. They had many conversations where Kade was given the opportunity to share the Love of Christ with her. We just do not know how much of it she took to heart, and what exactly she did with the information. This is the second of our ‘friends’ in two years that we have lost. {we have many elderly people that we have been taking care of for years now. We have always counted them as our friends, and we all take it really hard when we lose one of them.}

Also, please pray for her family during this time. We believe it was her daughter that found her this morning. We would like to have the chance to witness to them all as well.

Our neighbor is survived by two sons, two daughters, and more than half a dozen grandkids.
