Questions that beg to be asked.

From my day at work.

1. Why do people take already screaming children onto a carousel?

2. Why would a woman, who was afraid that she would be hard pressed to keep a hold of her twin youngsters while riding, answer her cell phone while on the ride?

3. Why do parents think it is a better idea to change the baby/toddlers messy diaper after the ride, and to eat dinner before the ride?

4. Why do people insist their children have a safety belt because it is not safe without it but want to be allowed to walk around on the moving ride?

5. Why when the gate opens toward the ride, leaving less than a foot of walking space between it and the baseboard of the carousel, do people feel that is the best direction to take to board the ride?

6. Why do people interpret, “Find a seat and keep it’ as ‘Find a seat, and if you don’t like it start crying half way through and have them stop it so you can move.”?

7. How does our makeshift lock of a D ring through the holes confuse so many adults? I’ve had six year olds break in no problem. Its the thirty year olds that get stuck!

8. How do you miss a price sign blocking so much of the window you have to bend down to ask how much the ride costs?

9.Why do parents think $1.75 per ride means “$1.75 per ride unless you only have $1.00, then its $1.00 per ride.”??

10. Somewhere, is there a carousel that assigns its riders a horse? I have people wait for me to direct them to ‘their’ horse.

11. Is there a carousel that has differing prices for each ‘toy’ on it? Such as being more to ride the black horse than the carriage, or the spinner vrs a horse?

12. How is it ‘cool’ to walk around a mall with your mom, dad, little siblings and/or nieces and nephews as a teen, but it is sooooo uncool to be seen accompanying those same children on the carousel? Not even as a rider, just someone to stand there and make sure they don’t fall off.

13. “Exit”, that means, “Come in Here” Right?
