Bit of a scare

We leave for Canada Sunday at 5pm. We had a bit of a scare yesterday, however, that we would not be able to go. Mum went to the post office and there was a sign there saying that you HAD to have a passport to get back into this country when going to Canada. The prices they listed there, showed us it was going to be over $800 for us all to get passports. Even then though, we would not get them for 6-8 weeks. So there is no way for us to even afford them, let alone get them in time for our trip.
However, according to the research we have done on it, Canada is not one that you must have a passport for until January. We are going to pray that this is the right info, and go without them! Please pray that we are allowed back home!!
I also had a bit of a scare as to how I was going to be for this trip! This morning I awoke unable to get out of bed, for the pain in my lower back. My cell was on the other side of the room to recharge, so I was not able to even call downstairs to tell them I needed some help. Instead, I had to bang on the floor till they came up to see what the racket was. They did come up, and Mum was able to help me with Myotherapyso that I could get out of bed. I had my brace on for a good part of the rest of the day, and that also did allot to help.
Not the best feelings just days before vacation!

Sorry you’re in pain. I’m sorry that you’re a pain also!!! HA HA! Hope you’re feeling well for your trip. How exciting. I’m not having a good week. Remember that our basement flooded when we were in Pennsylvania? Well, we cleaned things up. Then, before our camping trip we noticed mold growing in the office. Some of the furniture was new and some was the old. We cleaned it again. When we got back Sunday, it was worse than before. I have cried and ranted and yelled. And, the Lord has reminded me that missionaries in other countries live in grass or mud huts with snakes. I have it easy and am blessed. Pray that I will deal with this rationally. We need the mold to stop because it is a health hazard. New carpet, drywall, trim, and furniture are needed but the Lord knows that already. Or, he can speak the words “MOLD, BE GONE!” and it will be gone! We’re having company Saturday. It’s a joint b-day party for our 3 kids and a niece. So, it would be nice if God fixed things before Jims family arrives!

Forgot ot mention this. I also called Saginaw Post Office about Passports. She said that all is well til January. Praise the Lord. I know that getting them is a pain. Think of all the shots needed if you’re vaccines are not up-to-date. Glad you’re going now and not later. Besides, after this trip, they may have your picture hangin at the border with a note that says “DO NOT ALLOW THIS GIRL ENTERANCE”! So, behave and have a good time! HUGS AND A KISS
